What are the benefits of being a member?

You'll have access to our weekly lessons on Mondays from 7-9pm at 50 George Square G.06. The lessons cover the fundamental concepts of Python and from time to time we'll hold workshops with our sponsors about specialised topics such as data science and machine learning. After each lesson we'll give you access to our private repository on GitHub so you can check your answers. Let us know what topics you want to learn and we'll do our best to cover them!

By being a member you'll be able to receive news from our sponsors about what events they're planning and any internships or career events they have available. Some of our sponsors may be at our annual Hackathon, so keep an eye out for them!

Come along to our socials every once in a while! These range from flat parties to pub crawls and pub quizzes, so there should be something for everyone. We'll also organise networking events with other societies so you can meet new people with similar interests. We hope to see you at one of our events!

At the end of the year, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a position in our committee at our AGM. Being a committee member carries a lot of responsibility and is great for your professional development, so don’t hesitate to give it a shot!
